Tanya Times Witt is an educational speaker specializing in LGBT and HIV issues in older adults. She is employed by the Los Angeles LGBT Center in Senior Services; working at the largest LGBT low income elderly housing facility in the world. She is also a Commissioner for Los Angeles County's Commission on Aging. Tanya has a minor in Gerontology and is currently working on her Associate's Degree in Psychology with an emphasis on LGBT and HIV patient therapy. She is a member of the American Society on Aging. Tanya directs the One Voice Senior Chorale, works as a volunteer Emergency Response Team Member, and sits on the board of several community-oriented organizations.
Tanya is also a professional vocalist. She spent years touring with musical greats such as Ray Charles, Barbara Mandrell, and the Branson Superstars. She often performs the National Anthem and has sung for the Los Angeles Lakers, Green Bay Packers, and Chicago Bulls. She performs with several theater groups as well as with her female cabaret troupe.
