Tanya Witt is an educational speaker specializing in cultural competency within the LGBTQ community, policy and advocacy issues affecting older adults, and the challenges of aging.  She is the National Community Center Policy Manager for CenterLink's Center Action Network.  Tanya serves as Commissioner for the Los Angeles County Commission on Aging and the Los Angeles County Older Adults Policy and Advocacy Committee.  Tanya received her Gerontology certification from the University of Southern California's Leonard Davis School of Gerontology, finishing at the top of her class.  She is currently working on her Masters Degree in Public Health.  In June of 2017, Tanya received the Los Angeles County LINK Award for outstanding service to the older adult community.  You can learn more about Tanya's educational workshops here.

Tanya is also a professional vocalist.  She has toured with musical greats such as Ray Charles, Barbara Mandrell, Kenny Rogers, and the Branson Superstars.  She often performs the National Anthem and has sung for the Los Angeles Lakers, Green Bay Packers, and Chicago Bulls among others.  She performs with several community theater groups and lends her voice to many non profit and fundraising events within the Los Angeles area.  Please see Tanya's complete performance biography here.
